Parent Feedback

Our vision is to mirror teaching and learning in school through our virtual offer, as much as we possibly can. We recognise that the magic that happens in the classroom cannot be replicated through virtual teaching, but we strive to get as close to it as we can through our Google Classroom offer.

We are grateful to receive many supportive and kind messages from parents about what we are offering to our pupils.

"I think Newcroft are doing an amazing job. My child is hugely benefiting and enjoying the the variety of work and ability to engage with live lessons! It’s so hard on everyone but you and the team should be congratulated, it’s so interesting to see how different schools are coping and the different offerings and I may be biased but I certainly from the other trainees I chat to on my course, I don’t know a school that has a more comprehensive offer."

"Really impressed with what the school's managed to sort out so quickly, making homeschooling so much more fun and easier for the kids and parents."

"For what it is worth I think you and the staff at Newcroft are doing an absolutely amazing job and I count myself so lucky that both my children are with you."

"I would love to show my appreciation for Newcroft and all it’s community. My children are loving this lockdown’s home learning. The teachers have worked so hard in delivering it so well. I even watched a recorded assembly from the head teacher and it had me in tears! She was acknowledging how brave us parents have been and it was a touching nod to all of us parents hanging onto our sanity by a thread. Thank you Newcroft!"

"Just wanted to drop you a message to say you and the staff are doing an amazing job! Just seen the staff are now reading books for the kids too. Thank you so much the boys can't wait to listen!" Thank you so much for all you do.

"I just want to say as a parent and a school TA how fantastic you have organised the live lessons and google classroom. I know how stressful the past week has been as I’ve seen it at the school I work in. Huge thank you to you all. My child is engaged and ready for the day's tasks! Happy Mum :-)"

"Thank you for all the effort and hard work you've been putting into these lessons for the kids, it's wonderful to still have a bit of structure to the day, which helps our children to be able to learn and develop."

"You and the staff have been being doing an outstanding job with all the developments through the week. Personally, I think the opportunity for children to see their teachers and classmates virtually during this lockdown has been excellent."

"Just a very quick note to say so many thanks for the support we are to receive in teaching at home with Google Classroom. I was very thankful for the work set last Spring when we had to teach our children at home - it was more than many primary schools at the time - but teaching your own very lively child brings lots of challenges, especially with three adults working from home and one older student on online schooling! I have to admit my heart sank last night after the announcement, but we are all in this together and I feel a lot more upbeat after reading all the Weduc messages! Thank you so much once again, we will endeavour to do you proud!"
