Autumn Term 2 2023
This half term, our topic is 'Amazing Animals'. We will be exploring different types of animals including herbivores, omnivores and carnivores. We will also be producing some wonderful animal print art work which is always very exciting!
PE
Mrs Lloyd's class have PE on Tuesday and Friday.
Miss Brailsford's class have PE on Tuesday and Thursday
Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school each day.
Homework
The children have homework set weekly for reading and spelling. This homework is usually set on a Monday and will be due the following Monday. All homework will be in home school diaires and sent via WEDUC.
We encourage the children to read at least 3 times weekly, as part of our Regular Readers competition, as well as learning their weekly spellings. Weekly spellings will be tested on a Monday.
We also encourage children to play on Numbots each week to support Maths progress.
A creative task will also be set each half term.
