Autumn Term 2 2023
Curriculum
This half term, our topic is 'Mighty Maya'. We will exploring where the Maya originated from, where they lived, how they lived and what happened to them. The children will get to experiene a taste of Maya culture when we make Maya hot chocolate.
PE
Mr Akiens' class have PE on Wednesday and Friday.
Miss Veazey's class have PE on Wednesday and Friday.
Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school each day.
Homework
The children have homework set weekly, in both English and Maths. This homework is usually set on a Monday and will be due the following Monday.
We also encourage the children to read 3 times weekly, as part of our Regular Readers competition, as well as learning their weekly spellings. Weekly spellings will be tested on a Monday.
The children also need to play on TTRS each week as part of their homework, aimly for a weekly score of 1000 correct answers.
