Welcome to Newcroft Primary Academy
Aspiring for Excellence in all we do
A very warm welcome to our outstanding primary school, in the North West Leicestershire town of Shepshed. We are a two form entry primary school with classes from Pre-School (age 3+) through to year six. Applications are welcome from families who live in and out of our catchment area. The vast majority of our pupils do not live in our catchment area.
Our school sits on 6 acres of land, with a full size football pitch, running track and a woodland area in which we run our Forest School. Our sports hall is the centre of our school, allowing us to teach a full and exciting PE curriculum, hold large school events, performances and celebrations. The school provides wrap-around care for families through offering a range of extended services including a wide range of extra curricular clubs, Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club.
Our school is an incredible place to work and learn, which is proven in our pupil outcomes. We support our pupils in developing character and behaviours, to enable them to become effective learners, prepared for their futures beyond our school.
