School Dinners

The cost of school dinners for parents who pay, from 26th August 2025, is £2.70 per meal. 

For parents paying for their child's meal, this can be done so on their ParentPay account. We operate a cashless office. 

If your child is years 3, 4, 5 or 6 and is in receipt of Free school Meals, their hot meal will be free of charge each day. 

All Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive Universal Infant Free School Meals, meaning their hot dinner is free of charge each day.

We have a red, green and an orange daily 'on demand' choice for all pupils.  Dinners are ordered in the classroom by class teachers. Please see the current menu below for more details about what is on offer.

Our Winter Menu runs from Monday 28th October 2025 up to the Easter break 2026. Parents can also find a copy of this on their WEDUC account, along with our Egg Free, Dairy Free and Gluten Free menus. Paper copies may also be requested at the office.

Our Summer Menu begins when school opens after the Easter break (Monday 13th April 2026) and runs to October half term break (Friday 16th October 2026)

Allergies 

We cater for those with allergies at Newcroft.  Our school kitchen does not use nuts/peanuts, nut extracts etc.  We endeavor to ensure that all foods purchased from suppliers comply with our food standards.  However, we cannot accept responsibility for contaminants not specified on packaging.

We have an expectation that parents will inform Newcroft Primary Academy of any changes to the child’s dietary requirements.

Religious Beliefs

We are able to cater for religious beliefs such as Halal. Please contact the office for more information. 

Free School Meals
