Curriculum
At Newcroft Pre-School, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) for 0-5 years olds, alongside information in Development Matters.
We take great pride in our Pre-School curriculum offer. We have developed and adapted our provision to get the best outcomes for all children. The children spend the majority of their day in free flow exploration (discovery time), inside and outside. In addition to this, every week the children will be involved in:
- Meadow and woodland walks in our on site woodland
- Forest school sessions
- Library sessions in the main school library
- Group time sessions
- Phonics sessions
- PE lessons
- Varied whole school curriculum days throughout the year
- Special Assemblies throughout the school year
