Our Head teacher's Welcome

As Head teacher of Newcroft Primary Academy, I am pleased to welcome you to our exceptional school.

We have high expectations of our pupils and strive for our values to be lived out by all who learn at work at Newcroft: Aspirational, Resilient, Creative, Inclusive and Proud.  We work hard and ‘aspire for excellence' in all we do. We firmly believe that every child can and have high aspirations for all children. 

Our extremely committed team, in partnership with our parents and support and highly effective governing body, work in partnership to maximise the outcomes and experiences for our pupils. 

They are exceptionally well - behaved, kind, helpful and supportive of each other; they enjoy opportunities to get involved with the day to day running of our school through our Job Centre and through pupil leadership roles such as Ambassadors, School Council, Eco-Council, Sports Ambassadors and Mental Heath Ambassadors. Pupils are proud to be part of our school family. 

Our pupils enjoy the many inspirational opportunities on offer in our caring, family environment.We offer all pupils high quality learning experiences to ensure they are well-equipped for the next stage in their education, and for their futures. Our curriculum encourages creativity, is ambitious and inclusive; the development of pupils’ character is a fundamental aspect of this. We set high expectations of all learners, guiding pupils to develop high aspirations for themselves, alongside building their resilience and cultural capital.  We aim for every pupil to be proud of their achievements, their progress and our school community. Our taught curriculum is complemented by hands on enrichment experiences to build pupils' cultural capital and an extensive extra-curricular offer.

The success of our curriculum is evident in the high academic results we achieve each year, and in our Ofsted 'Outstanding in all areas' status, achieved in May 2025.
