Newcroft secures the Gold Anti Bullying Award!

Beyond Bullying Award – Gold Standard Achieved

We are delighted to share some fantastic news with our school community. Over the past academic year, we have been working diligently towards renewing our Beyond Bullying Award, a prestigious recognition from the local authority that celebrates schools committed to creating inclusive, respectful, and safe environments for all.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Newcroft has successfully achieved the Gold Level Standard the highest level of the Beyond Bullying Award. This is a significant accomplishment that reflects the dedication, hard work, and values upheld by everyone within our school.

During the assessment, we received outstanding feedback from the external assessor, who praised the comprehensive and embedded approach we take towards promoting respect, celebrating difference, and addressing anti-bullying across all aspects of school life. In particular, they highlighted how these values are clearly and consistently reflected across the curriculum, school culture, and assemblies, describing them as a “golden thread” that runs throughout Newcroft.

Importantly, the only recommendation we received was to continue maintaining the high standards we have already established something we are wholeheartedly committed to doing.

This achievement would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our staff, governors, pupils, and wider school community. We thank you all for your continued support and for playing such a vital role in making Newcroft a place where every child feels safe, valued, and respected
